My first experience with babysitting happened when I was around 16 and I had three younger step siblings. I was always looking after them, cooking for them, making sure they did their homework and got to bed at the right time while my parents were away. As I got older and started driving, I babysat for 2 families. One family with two children ages 5 and 7 and the eldest has a moderate case of autism. I would pick them up from their bus stop, cook for them, assist with their homework if needed, while also making sure the family dog was well fed and let out at appropriate times. The mother of these children recommended me to someone she knew who also had 2 children, also 5 and 7, so I soon started babysitting for them too. These girls were very active, so I took them to every lesson Read more they were signed up for, I also stayed at birthday parties with them and I was even trusted to stay overnight with them under my care. I am very caring and I love working with children, as well as with pets. I am currently a senior in college and my schedule isn't so packed this year, so I'm hopeful to be able to babysit for children part time.
