I am a registered nurse in a neonatal ICU, with a bachelors in nursing and a previous bachelors degree in Health Science Studies. I have an AHA CPR/AED, as well as NRP & PALS certification specific for healthcare providers. In high school I took multiple classes in child and infant development. Along with those classes I also worked in the school's day care facility where I received experience in the different stages of childhood development ranging from infant to 4 years old. I have also previously cared for a child in elementary school on a part-time basis. Furthermore, throughout high school and middle school I was responsible for watching over my two younger siblings when my parents were away ranging from a few hours at a time to a few days. Volunteering is also very important to me. I have volunteered at a nursing facility for hospice patients and have Read more also volunteered at New Haven Reads where I taught children of various ages how to read and write. Overall, childcare is a huge interest of mine. My hobbies include reading, writing, and other recreational activities. I am up to date with my immunizations including the flu vaccine.
