I've been caring for children for more than 25 years, ever since I had my first babysitting job at the age of 16. I'm fun-loving and energetic and I genuinely enjoy taking care of children. I’m reliable, hard-working, and trustworthy, with a strong work ethic and a sharp eye for detail and organization. Over the years I've been a sitter and an assistant aide at a day care center, but most of my work in recent years has been as a nanny in private homes. I've cared for infants and children of all ages up to 18, I've worked for families with one child and families with many children, and I've cared for infant twins. Most recently I spent 8 years keeping house and caring for the two children of a busy professional couple, and for 6 years I served as housekeeper and nanny for a single mother with two Read more young children. My duties included chauffeuring the children and running errands as well as entertaining the children and preparing meals. In all of my work I am dedicated to meeting the specific needs of every family I assist. I’m happy to add tasks that don’t fall strictly within the definition of child care or housekeeping if it will help you manage your time and your days better. In the event of an emergency I am quick on my feet, and will take the necessary actions that are required by the family.
