I have been working with children with incarcerated parents for a little over a year now. They have taught me a lot with working with children such as patience and compassion. Sometimes a child does something that they truly do not mean or meant it for another reason. I enjoy working with children because they are kind and always have a smile on their faces. I also worked as a camp counselor for two years before college. Living with the children really gave me insight into a child's mind and it was a lot of fun being able to take care of different kids for the duration of the summer. I look forward to getting the opportunity to babysit your children.
