I am going to be a junior at the university of rhode island. I am becoming a social worker for young children. I participated in a program called Jumpstart my freshman year where i went into preschools and helped the kids get ready to go into kindergarten. I have taken a babysitting course so i am certified in CPR and first aid. Right now i have a job with a company called Mad Science where i go into elementary schools and teach kids science skills. Since i was 13 i have always babysat my parents friends kids. I love running around and playing with them but if they need to get school work done i am also good at keeping them focus while also making it fun.
