I'm Renee, but my family & friends call me Eve, I am a 30 year old female. I love children, I come from a very large family and have spent much of my teenage-adult years watching children between the ages of newborn-11 yrs old. I also have a dog and cat who I am responsible for taking care of everyday as well as bringing to the appropriate vet appointments. I've changed more diapers and been thrown up or spit up on more times than I can count....and I actually don't mind it anymore because I love being around babies, it just doesn't phase me anymore. As well as taking care of my nephews and cousins I also was there for my best friend and her daughter from pregnancy and all through her first 2 yrs (I then went off to college) but still took care of her daughter just not Read more around the clock like I had been doing. I've never actually worked for anyone outside family/friends and neighbors--when I was in high school but I do know CPR as well as basic fist aid. I spent the last 4 years working in the medical field in Boston before coming back home to CT. I'm available to care for children of all ages but I prefer children under 1 year of age, that way if it is a long term position, I can form a bond with not just the child but also the parents and family. (Which is extremely important to me.) In addition to child care and let care, I currently am responsible for home care, including cleaning, chores, laundry, dishes etc... And cooking 3-4 nights a week. I do not mind including chores, laundry etc... As part of on description and caring for child. I'm great with boys and girls but as I do have all nephews and no nieces, I am around little boys more often. I'm very caring, compassionate (I come from a family of medical care professionals including my mother, who is a nurse.) I have always gone out of my way to help others and I enjoy doing so. Not related to child care but I have a Pharmacy technician licensee and am very well educated in medications of all sorts. (I worked in pharmacy for 8 years.) I am able to begin working immediately and am pretty flexible with availability.. Very willing to work with family on hours/availability etc...
