I am currently working as a certified teacher at a daycare center with ages 3 months to 5 years old 40 hours a week. I have been babysitting children of all ages since I was 12 yrs old. I have also worked for two years with children with severe emotional, mental and behavioral problems at the Walker School. In college and high school, I volunteered and did internships with students age 12 and older that were diagnosed with autisim, Traumatic Brain Injury, down syndrome and other developmental delays. Over the years, I have taught children about basic hygiene care, social interactions, innovative and developmentally appropriate activities to stimulate all five senses and aide children with their studies, as well as personal conflicts.
