My name is Genevieve and I am a certified elementary education teacher. I just graduated with a Masters in elementary education and last year i completed my Bachelors degree in psychology. I am a very outgoing, bubbly, kid-loving person. I enjoy playing sports, baking, crafting, and adventuring. I have extensive experience with kids of all ages ranging from newborn to 14 years old. I have babysat for many families and nannied for a family for four and a half years. As a nanny, I drove the kids to activities, helped with homework, bathed them, made dinner, put away laundry, put them to bed, and played with them. For about a year and a half, I worked as an assistant teacher at a local development center. In this position, I worked with children newborn through 5 years, teaching and caring for them. Through the last year, I have worked in a Read more K-5 school teaching, supporting teachers, implementing sensory breaks, working with students with special needs. I got CPR certified (including infants) in the spring of 2014 and have taken babysitting courses. I am currently looking for a family (or few families) to work with for homeschooling for the upcoming school year. I take proper COVID precautions and believe that children need as much support as ossicle to support them socially and emotionally, especially during this time. I look forward to speaking with a family who is looking for a homeschool teacher/pod leader/tutor for the upcoming year.
