My 2 daughters (10 and 14) and I recently moved back to CT after 10 years of living in Florida. Yes, I missed the snow! I also greatly missed the excellent school systems, exceptional health care, and of course my family and friends. I began babysitting when I was 14, and have continued through adulthood. In addition to raising my own children, I have acted as principal and substitute teacher at a Sunday school in Florida, and most recently acted as a "surrogate mother" for a friend who is a single mother of 3, the youngest child born in April 2012. I have always loved children, and enjoy spending time with them, helping them to learn new things and watching their excitement at discovering the world around them.
