I am currently attending graduate school and hope to graduate with a Master's Degree in Social Work. I have had a few years of experience as a traditional caregiver/babysitting family as well as friends of the family. When I graduated college, I began working at a group home for children aged 6 years old - 14 years old. While working at the group home, my responsibilities as a lead caregiver was to provide homework help, prepare meals, hygiene routines, as well as keeping order within the house. I also have experience working with children who have severe Autism. I worked in a school for children ages 5-21 and helped teach these children basic living skills and vocational skills. My latest experience was working as a Mental Health Counselor providing in-home therapeutic services to children and families in need. I am 25 years old, very ambitious, understanding and patience. I am CPR/First Aid certified, as well as medication certified (I am legally allowed to give medications when working in a facility), and I have also been trained in therapeutic crisis intervention.
