Hi there! I am Courtney, a 24-year-old with education in infant/early childhood education and development, and psychology. I have lifeguarding and CPR training as well as completed babysitting/nannying certification. I have babysat for a number of families in Acton, MA. I have cared for children since I was 15 years old. My most recent childcare position was as a full-time nanny for a family with an 18-month-old and 3 german shepherds for a year. My responsibilities included but were not limited to: -Tend to the general and basic needs of the child while providing supervision to ensure the children's safety -Engage in child-age-appropriate activities -Monitor the child's behavior for irregularities pertaining to their health and well-being as well as their physical, emotional, and mental development -Create a safe environment for the child -Attend and transport the child to “mommy and me” classes -Perform housekeeping tasks related to the children's care Read more (dishes, laundry, etc.) -Meet with the parents regularly to reflect on and plan for the child's activities and development -Meal prep/ cooking (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner) -Nighttime routine (the 3 B's - bath, books, and bedtime) -Sterilizing, cleaning, and preparing bottles -Changing baby when needed -Establishing healthy sleep habits -Soothing baby back to sleep -Keeping the nursery/play areas tidy -Tending to dog's needs I give timely responses to messages or texts. I am looking to nanny part-time in St. Pete/Palmetto/surrounding areas from 2:00 pm-8:30 pm Monday-Friday (with some weekend availability during the morning & day). I adore babies and children. I am looking for a family who can trust, and depend on me to love and care for their infant/child/children with open communication of their needs from me.
