As the oldest of five kids, I've been taking care of children for as long as I can remember. I got certified by the American Red Cross & started babysitting for neighbors when I was 12, but I feel like my babysitting career started long before that since I'd always do things like bathe & feed my siblings, get them ready for school, try to keep them out of trouble, and think of fun things for us to do together when our parents weren't home. Even when I took a break from paid babysitting, I'd still help friends and family look after their children. The most children I've ever babysat at once was five kids, aged 2-10. I usually babysit kids who are 3 to 12 years of age, but I've also taken care of infants & teenagers. I was CPR & First Aid certified but I need to renew Read more those certifications. I have experience taking care of sick kids & giving them medicine when needed. Over the past decade, I've babysat on & off for at least 10 families. In addition to basic childcare & housekeeping tasks, I've also gained a lot of experience caring for a variety of pets, including fish, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, chickens, dogs, and even snakes. I'm a big fan of dogs and have two adorable little girls of my own. I got the Covid vaccine & will respect whatever precautions you do (or don't) deem necessary.
