Hi there! I am a experienced babysitter/nanny who truly enjoys caring for children. I love their honesty, curiosity, and general enthusiasm for life. I have cared for children of all ages-- from infants to teens. For 5 years I babysat/nannied for a family of 3 boys, even traveling with them on family vacations. Most recently I was the sole babysitter/nanny of an amazing little girl from the age of 6 months until she started school at 5 years old. I loved to do all sorts of things with her like read books, play make believe, arts and crafts, take walks, play outside, go to kids museums, etc. One thing I'd like to say is that I am a great caregiver because I have the energy to keep up with kids! But I am also a calm presence which I think provides a good balance. I was an English major in Read more college who loves to read and write. I pride myself on my ability to engage with kids and get them interested in educational and creative endeavors. Most of all, I have the energy to keep up with kids and I am a very understanding, kind, patient person who knows the importance of listening to children and letting them know you are there for them. I have worked in the education departments of 2 different museums which has been very rewarding and knowledgeable with regards to dealing with kids and keeping them focused and entertained. I am a very genuine, reliable person and I believe that both parents and children can tell that about me right from the start.
