My name is Colleen McMahon. I am 24 years old and I currently work as a Pre-K autism paraprofessional at Stafford Elementary School. I have a bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Hartford. I am looking to pursue a master's degree in Special Education in the future. I have 3 years of paid babysitting experience. Last year I worked full-time as a one-to-one paraprofessional with an autistic high school boy and as a teacher's assistant at the Cheshire YMCA. My other childcare experiences include: working as a camp counselor at Camp Sloper for two summers, teaching swim lessons to kindergarten age group and babysitting. I am skilled in food preparation, providing arts and crafts activities, reading, homework help and supervising play/playgrounds. I have the most experience with elementary aged children. I am looking for a summer babysitting position, I will be available after June 18th.
