Hello everyone, my name is Lindsay. Where to begin, scary enough as it is, I have been watching children since the tender age of 11. Scary for me to say because I am now 26 years old! A little bit about my history in childcare. I nannied in the summer for a family in New cannan with four children ranging from the Ages 12-3. That was my first big nanny job at the age of 15. I worked 3 summers full time. At the age of 17 I worked with a family with 2 boys, well when I first started it was one with one on the way. Those boys are now 10 and 8 and I still babysit for them to this day. I think it's safe to say They're family at this point. My aunt also owns a private daycare in Stamford called Just Like Family. She has Read more been a daycare provider for 15+ years. Needless to say I've worked with her and many of the families of the children she takes care of. I have also been CPR certified 4 times. A little bit of a twist. I am currently a hairdresser in Greenwich CT. I have been doing hair for 7 years. Though I love what I do I am ready to move on. I have been taking care of kids for 15 years of my life. It has always been something I loved and was amazing at. Kids just seem to love me, and I can give them haircuts :) Because of the industry I am in I have a very artistic and creative side to me. I do have tattoos, very pretty colorful ones, nothing offensive or distasteful. I actually get lots of compliments on them! Hopefully this gives you a decent idea of who I am and what I can do for you and your family. Coming from a big loving Italian family, I know how important family is. I am responsible, reliable, intelligent, nurturing, and so much more! I am looking for a full time job, live out, mon-fri (some weekends are fine). I have a license and car so transportation will never be a problem. I am currently working but for the right fit I am ready to make the change.
