During the school year, I am an Elementary/Special Education major and a Philosophy minor at Providence College in Rhode Island. I am going into my 4th year at PC, but I have been working with children for the past 6 years, in a professional setting. I began in the Horizons Summer Enrichment Program as a teacher's assistant for grades Pre-K through 8 and additionally, as a student teacher studying education, for the past 3 years I have been in the classroom with grades 1-5. I found out early on that working with children is my calling, and I've been told that I am extremely patient, kind and caring. I am a musician, studio artist and athlete, so if your children need lessons, a creative outlet, or someone with high energy who doesn't mind running around, I'm your girl. I also love to cook, don't mind cleaning and I am more Read more than willing to travel. I love pets and don't mind helping take of them as well. I am Red Cross Certified and I have been babysitting children from ages ranging 5 months up to 12 years-old for roughly 8 years now. I absolutely love the work that I do, and I would to assist in taking care of you and your family as well.
