Hello! I have worked with infants, toddlers and preschool aged children in day care facilities, this is where my love for children began and led me to where I am today in my career. I prefer now to work as a private nanny, where I can bond with a family for long-term in their home. As a nanny, I have cared for newborns to preteens. It is a very rewarding experience for me to be a part of your children's growth and development. I am currently seeking a long term nanny position with the right family. My availability is full time hours Monday-Friday or I am also available for weekend mornings if needed. I absolutely love being around and working with children. I have decided that working with kids is my passion! I consider myself a fun-loving, trustworthy, loving and reliable person. But, I am also creative, patient and outgoing Read more too. I am CPR and First Aid certified and I have some special needs experience with autism. In addition I have excellent references and letters of recommendation available for your review. I look forward to speaking with you about your childcare needs!

Lynzie came to our home and interviewed for a job for a full time nanny to my infant twins. She spent approximately a hour and a half here talking with us and interacting with the twins. She had strong prior experience and assured us that she would be comfortable with infant twins. She sent us an email after the interview explaining how she loved our family and thought she would be a great fit. She told us she also interviewed with several other families however we were her first choice. After interviewing some other candidates we decided to offer Lynzie the job. I was clear with hours needed, the pay rate, and her responsibilities. She immediately accepted the position and we arranged a time for her to come to our home and learn where things were and a bit about the twins schedule. Lynzie moved this orientation three times. I re-arranged my schedule twice to accommodate her. When she finally did come she spent five hours with me. She seemed very comfortable and told me that she interviewed with five families and all offered her the job but she choose to work for us. We gave her a key to our house and paid her for the 5 hours. Of note, the twins were asleep two of the five hours in which Lynzie and I sat on the couch talking about nothing. However I paid her for five hours out of good faith and to start our working relationship on a good note. She left saying she was excited to start working and would see me on her start date. Two hours later Lynzie sent me an email explaining that she had to turn down the job. She said she felt overwhelmed and she didn't think she was a right fit. Which is the complete opposite of what she had told us during the interview, the prior emails, and the five hours she spent here. She did a complete 180 in a matter of two hours in which we are still in shock over. This all happened one week prior to Lynzie's start date and me returning to work which left us in a absolute horrible position. We had to restart the process of finding a nanny within 7 days or I would have to take unpaid time off work which was not a possibility. Not only do we feel lied to and misled, we are deeply upset and disappointed with Lynzie's actions and the way she handled herself and the situation. We feel the Lynzie misrepresented herself and her capabilities as a nanny. I rarely if ever have written a review however felt that Lynzie's actions required one. As a fellow parent looking for a qualified, responsible, honest nanny...we would not recommend Lynzie in anyway.
