I realized that I loved babysitting and providing care when I became a "mommy's little helper" at the age of eight. I continued to search for opportunities to babysit children and I have finally decided to make my services more public. This past summer I worked at Camp Hazen YMCA which I spent plenty of time working with kids of all ages. I absolutely loved that but the job was not as personal as care giving is. Before this job I had watched over two girls nine and eleven years old. We had endless fun, but unfortunately all good things must come to an end when their father returned from overseas their mother was able to watch over them again. I occasionally watch over a seven (now eight!) year old boy. I have experiences hanging out with both genders and all ages. I was captain of the field hockey team, I'm an active member of class council and other clubs. I am on the executive board for our high school's National Honor Society where I received recognition for my scholarship, service, leadership, and character. My grades matter a lot to me and I do very well in school- I took a child development class sophomore year where I got a solid 100% on a stimulated baby project! I am also CPR/First Aid certified!
