I am a 22-year-old, recent college graduate (SCSU - Public Health/Women's Studies) who began babysitting/nannying in 2008. I have experience working as a part-time nanny for children with special needs (Autism, Apraxia, hearing impaired) as well as traditionally functioning children. I was a full time, live-in nanny with a family in Quebec for twin boys, ages 4 (summer 2013). The majority of my experience has been with traditionally functioning toddlers and cognitively impaired adolescents. I have been a casual babysitter for multiple families for the last two years, with children ages ranging from 3 - 15. I am CPR certified, have my own car, and do not smoke. I am returning to babysitting/nannying as I pursue my second Bachelor's degree in nursing, with plans to eventually become an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse specializing in family care.
