Hello and thanks for visiting my profile. :) There's a little bit of information about me below, but please feel free to write if you have any questions at all: I've been living in DC since 2009 and am originally from Hollywood, Florida. I'm a big sister (four little brothers ranging 2 to 17 years younger than me) and an aunt (a 9-year old niece and a 3-year old nephew) who has been babysitting family for as long as I can remember. During high school, I babysat for neighbors whenever the need arose, and during graduate school I watched a two-year old boy every weekday afternoon. My babysitting experience has ranged from nights at home to fully-planned summer camps with field trips, planned projects, and road trips to Disney. During weekdays, I'm a grant writer and project manager for a conservation organization focused on the Amazon rainforest. I attended graduate Read more school at the University of Maryland College Park and interned at the Environmental Protection Agency for several years. Some of my hobbies include baking, cake decorating, home crafts (scrapbooking, decorating), hiking and running. I am happy to babysit on a regular, scheduled basis, or as-needed. I work well with children of all ages, and am comfortable with pets. Since I work full-time during the day, I'm available early mornings or weeknights after 6:30pm and any time during the weekend. I'm happy to babysit at your home, or to visit a park or on any other sort of field trip your kids might enjoy, as long as it is approved by you. I am also comfortable cooking if needed.
