I am currently a first-year medical student (with aspirations of becoming a pediatrician) and have extensive experience working with children. This summer I will be working in pediatric research at Children's Hospital but will have availability evenings and weekends. Some of my past experience includes working as an Au Pair for four children (ages <2 months, 2, 3, and 5 years old), working in a Developmental Research Lab with adolescents, volunteering in pediatric and NICU departments in the hospital, working as a preschool teacher (ages 2-3 years old), and working as an ABA therapist for children diagnosed with autism (ages 4-9 years old). Additionally, my family served as a emergency shelter for foster children so I have much experience working with infants to three-year-olds. In regards to my educational background, I graduated from UCLA in 2012 with a major in Psychology and a minor in Child Development. Through my Child Read more Development training, I also became certified in Early Care and Education. Currently, I am a pursuing medicine. Additionally, I am trained in both CPR and First Aid.
