I am a Health Science senior at Boston University, but will be in Washington DC for the summer. I am looking for work during July and August. I am attending either nursing school or occupational therapy school after graduation and would love to pursue a career in either pediatrics, neonatal care, obstetrics, or postpartum care - I would love to combine all three if I could! As a childcare provider, I love developing relationships with the children I care for, and with their families. I am caring, patient, and empathetic, and open-minded to every family's needs and a parent's vision for their children! My experience is varied and I am great at adapting to different situations and being creative with children. I babysat for several families during high school and college, worked in my synagogue's childcare program, worked as a part time nanny for the past two summers and as Read more a full time pre-school teacher during the summer of 2010 (and as an aid for a child with Autism at the school towards the end of my time there). I am CPR, Choke-Saving and First Aid Certified. I also a DONA Birth Doula, a lactation counselor, and am especially experienced with caring for young children and babies.
