Hi all! My name is Cynthia Tassopoulos, and I am a 23-year old living and working in Washington, D.C. I began babysitting at the age of 14, although you could say I started even earlier since I had a somewhat rambunctious younger brother (4 years younger) who I often watched at home! I babysat for several families in my local neighborhood, and would like to continue babysitting here in D.C. and have cared for many ages from newborns to teenagers. While the majority of my experience has been caring for kids ages 2 to 14 year olds, I am comfortable caring for younger children and newborns. My longest experience babysitting was over one summer when I babysat for two girls (ages 4 & 7) for 3 days a week. I absolutely loved this experience, and being able to form friendships with these girls who I still babysit for when I Read more am home. In general, I enjoy playing games, arts & crafts, and outdoor activities with the kids. I am also comfortable cooking and preparing meals if need be. With regards to training, I took a first aid and safety course at the local YMCA when I first started babysitting which has served me well. I also want to share a few personal details & fun facts to help you know more about myself! I was born in Dallas, Texas, and lived there until I attended Harvard University for college in Boston, Mass. I have been living in the District for over a year now and work within healthcare. I love playing (and watching) sports, movies & tv shows, and all things Greek!
