Hi! I'm a current sophomore attending Georgetown University studying Marketing and Finance and am looking to start babysitting in my part-time home city. My prior work experience includes babysitting for many family friends since the age of 12, which gives me about 7 years of experience ranging from mother's helper roles to full-day nannying. I also have worked as a Lifeguard at my community pool back in Pennsylvania for the past 4 summers. At that same pool, I was fortunate enough to have helped out with the swim team while still a member. Upon graduating high school two summers ago, I returned as an official Assistant Coach. My primary role was coaching the "Pre-team" which was made up of about 15 3-6 year olds and was one of the most rewarding experiences thus far, with many of the swimmers successfully competing in meets by the end of the season! In Read more addition, I've also offered private swim lessons for the past 4 summers and have developed many positive relationships back in my hometown. I absolutely loved my role as a Lifeguard/Swim Coach and was fortunate enough to babysit many of my swimmers as well. I also worked as an Early French Education Tutor for 3 children ranging in ages from 3-8. Although freshmen in college are much older than the normal babysitting demographic, I also was selected to be a Freshman Orientation Advisor this past fall and was so honored to have been a mentor to such a great group of students. I absolutely love working with children and have missed the opportunity since coming to college, but after becoming acclimated to school, I feel that this is the perfect time to find more opportunities if possible!
