Growing up, In Washington DC over 16 years. Born in Olongapo City Phillippines. As a young Black African American that's mixed with and Filippina. I knew I wanted to work with children. It all started in Maury Elementary school. There I was 13 years of age babysitting my 4th grade teacher's Daughter, from there I was accepted to be part of a teaching academy program that led me to the Summer Youth Program here in the Washington DC area. Throughout my four years in High School Eastern Senior High I must say. I graduated and I was able to dream big and assisted a variety of elementary schools students in the After Care Programs all different age groups from pre-k through 6th graders.. Polite Piggy's Day Camp was my first job. I worked as an assistant at a childcare facility. I worked as a nanny, a kindergarten teacher assistant, as Read more well an assistant and lead teacher at several childcare centers. I have a lot of experience in the childcare field. I am currently 25 years old and have a 5 year old daughter that lives with her father in Maryland she is the one that keeps me motivated everyday. She is the one I care about and love very much. I have experience working with all different ages, infant to teen. Working with kids for so many years, I have come to understand that children come into the world with a blank slate. The experiences, environment, adults, as well as surroundings are what shape them into who they become. I feel our responsibility as parents and teachers is to provide children with the best possible education, knowledge, and choices so they are able to grow to their maximum potential. I believe that children are the future and should be given the ability to become independent individuals by setting limits with positive discipline, praise, and encouragement. I enjoy being surrounded by children because of their imagination, innocence, and creativity. I am a creative person who enjoys life at its best. I'm very energetic, active reliable, funny, silly person who you will love. I know I can be a great babysitter/nanny to your children. I love listening to music of all different genres, reading non-fiction books, dancing, love sports, and meeting people of all different cultures. Learning is a lifelong passion for me enjoying the many different cultures around the world.
