ABOUT ME I guess you can say that I have been babysitting since I was 5. I am the 2nd child in a family of 4 - so I began my education by taking care of my little brother and sister. I quickly graduated into babysitting children in my neighborhood and became the longtime sitter for several families. I came by this profession through experience and a sincere love of children. However I have worked with children in several other capacities. The difference with a sitter is continuing to foster a fun and loving environment in the place where children feel safe and happy. PAST EXPERIENCE I also have past experience in the Fairfax County School system working as a Teacher's assistant in French Language camps at the elementary school level, a substitute teacher grades K-12 and a sports coach at the high school level. Most recently I worked in Read more DCPS system for an organization called Move This World which used dance and movement to teach social competencies as a means to decrease bullying. I love to cook, dance, sing, and find joy and learning from the children I work with. CERTIFICATIONS/ DEGREES I am certified by the American Heart Association in First Aid and CPR. My degrees are in International Affairs and French. In the past I have tutored Chinese, French and Math.
