Hi! I work at the Children's National hospital in DC in Psychiatry full-time, Monday-Friday with children, ages 6-17, but my hours are somewhat flexible, so I am available weekday evenings as well as weekends. Over the past 2+ years, I've been babysitting for 10 different families in the DC area with children ranging from newborns to teenagers, twins, special needs children, with or without pets, overnight babysitting, etc. I'm familiar and comfortable working with children of all ages, races, and genders. I've also had training a few years ago in CPR and the Heimlich maneuver for infants, children, and adults. I have not been re-certified recently, but I do know how to properly conduct these techniques for the safety of your children. Now that I've been accepted to grad schools for the fall (yay!), I'm quitting my job in May and spending the summer babysitting & traveling.
