Hello! My name is Jill and I am originally from Minnesota. I am finishing my Masters while working on Capitol Hill. I have always loved being around people, and more importantly taking care of people. Since 14, I have babysat, taught swim lessons, lifeguarded, been a swim coach, and a mentor to many children. My personal favorite was being a "BIG" Sister through the Big Brothers Big Sister program - as I got to explore and grow with my little sister. Growing up I always had summer nannies, and I always appreciated nannies who engaged in my life and took me to museums, to the park, etc instead of letting me sit and watch TV. Be it in swim lessons or in my role as a BIG i like to find a way to give a healthy challenge to my students/kids and teach them something new. I have had First Read more Aid, CPR, and AED certifications which lapsed last year but I am in the process of getting them rectified.
