I've always been a instinctual caregiver. It may have something to do with coming from a large family where every summer it seemed as if I was running a day care but I feel so many people felt they could trust me with their children because I genuinely enjoyed taking care of them. So my formal experience is short and sweet, I worked as a babysitter since I was 11 until 17. Went to college; worked with disabled children, teens and adults as a camp counselor for a couple years in Ohio, and have been taking babysitting gigs on and off over the years whenever I wanted to lighten my "adult" load. My last assignment was with the Otto family in Florida, two young boys ages 1 year and 8 months and one daughter aged 8. Reference furnished upon request. I am not averse to regaining my certification for CPR Read more which I have had before and received my certification as a Nursing Assistant in NY.
