Hello! My name is Amanda. I currently manage the Food Growing Program for the Capital Area Food Bank. In my current role, I work with food pantries to establish gardens. I also host school groups and volunteers in our urban demonstration garden. I have considerable experience working with children. I was a lifeguard at a camp in Chappaqua, NY for 6 years. I worked at a pre-school in Burlington, VT throughout college. I also worked as a mentor in a youth program, DREAM, while living in VT. In addition, I babysat a family of 3 children (ages 3, 5 + 7) continuously while I live in Portland, ME.
