Hello Parents and Caregivers: It is my pleasure to offer you child care services. I have over twenty (20) years of experience providing choice care for infants, children, teens, and senior populations. I enjoy working & interacting with people. It is an honor to look after others who require such attention. In my experience I have provided care in family environments, after school care & homework assistance with the Associates for Renewal in Education, chaperoned functions and travel events, and also facilitated a youth group sponsored by the Howard University Department of Pediatrics & Child Health as Project Coordinator for two (2) years. I believe in community and creating opportunities for the future of the youth. In addition, I am educated having matriculated through the DC Public School System's Health & Human Services Academy which was sponsored by the US Department of Health & Human Services. Following high school I Read more trained with the Meriweather Healthcare Enterprises & Westlink and received licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician at the age of 19. I have also earned an Associate's degree in Marketing, Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Business Management, and completed 40.5/54 hours to date toward a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resource Management. I received the latter training at Strayer University. Not only am I able to provide care, but I can offer assistance to your children with regard to studies as an additional service. While I have not yet brought forth my own offspring, I have had a hand in raising five (5) wonderful people. Even with challenges they all turned out great. They include a retired Air Force Sargeant, a Human Resources Specialist in the federal government (since age 15), a Medical Assistant, a Retail Manager, and a budding Banker. I am currently available to provide cduring the day hours before 4pm. My rates vary case by case. I reserve the right not to accept care of individuals in homes with family pets as allergies are a concern. Based on location, a provision of transportation may be required of service requester if the location is remote. I look forward to meeting you and your family.
