Hi My perspctive parents and families! Its a pleasure to meet you.. I am Shawnice, a native Washington, D.C. resident. I have 10 plus years working in childcare, and 6 of those years in ECE. I recently worked as a lead teacher in a prestigious downtown preschool in Chicago, Il. I recently moved back here tothe DMV about a month ago. I have attended workshops and professional development classes geared towards learning more about a child cognitive,social and emotional, as well as physical development. I have drafted lesson plans as well as organized an array of countless activites in order to promote a childs continous development. As a babysitter your child will get the best of both worlds, a loving and affectionate caregiver as well as a dynamic teacher.
