Hey there! My name is Caroline and I'm 22 years young. I'm currently a student at George Washington University finishing up my Psychology degree and a DC native. For as long as I can remember, children have been such a key role in my life. I have a sister four years younger than me and I am the daughter of two educators. I've have nannied and babysat over 7 years for many children, all with different backgrounds, families, special needs, and ages. I can work with up to 4 children at a time. I have experience with children with autism, Asphbergers, epilepsy, severe allergies, ADHD, various learning disabilities. I am a proud member of the Big Brothers Big Sister organization. In my spare time I also help host events for the Boys and Girls Club of DC. Safety is absolutely my number one priority with your children or loved ones. Read more I have my CPR and first aid certification for advanced medical providers through American Red Cross, and I am also presently (up to date) a certified and licensed EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) by the US Department of Transportation. I have worked for the Jewish Community Center of Northern VA as a BASE instructor (before and after school care) assisting with all sorts of creative activities for children in the PreK-6 grade age group. I'm very skilled with computers, math, reading, history, elementary skills. Being a teacher's daughter, tutoring is second nature to me. I especially love helping children learn about technology and the internet. I also have limited proficiency speaking skills in French, Arabic, and American Sign Language If you have access to a pool, or just have children who need swim lessons I'm your girl! I have my advanced swim instructor certification. I've been swimming since I was 2 years old, captain of my varsity team in high school, and have been doing private and group lessons for ALL age and skill groups since I was 14 (pre K- preteen) I have no problem cooking or light household work. If needed, I can also accommodate for travelling during vacations or whatever the need may be. I can house-sit as well. I'm very organized. I love animals just about as much as I love children! I have two dogs of my own, so pets (including cats, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, birds, pretty much anything you can come up with!) are not a problem for me at all. Check out my experience/work section for more details! References are also available upon request! Looking forward to hearing from you! Caroline :)
