Hello! I'm Kristin and love working with children and also find that they enjoy being with me as well. I'm a sophomore at James Madison University with a major in psychology, a minor in Spanish and soon to be minor in family studies. I hope to have a future career in marriage/family counseling or as a child life specialist. At James Madison I was involved with a program called Sister2Sister for a year before it was discontinued. The program was run through a Methodist Church Mission House called RISE where I was a mentor for young underprivileged girls in grades K-5. I also have prior experience babysitting a 8 year old girl for 3 years for both short periods of time and also for full work days. I have a clean driving record and no prior convictions. I am an honest, responsible and reliable caretaker who loves to have fun Read more but can also help kids get done what they need to. I can help with school work, take them to camps, to the pool, etc. I would consider myself an advanced Spanish speaker (not completely fluent) and could also help to teach small Spanish lessons if it is desired. I am a very hard worker with great dedication who accepts responsibility. I am also a conscientious person which is reflected in my time management. I am looking for a solid and consistent job for the summer (mid May to August) and would love to work with you and your family!
