In high school I maintained a 3.8 GPA, making it very hard to attend a job that required clocking in and out, which led me in the direction of baby sitting. I was very fortunate to come across an amazing family consisting of a single mom with very demanding hours with children ages 2 and 7. These children became a part of my everyday life Monday-Friday, as she worked at the Dover Air Force Base overnight meaning they lived with me in my home or we would alternate weeks between her home and mine. I loved my experience with these extraordinary children because they initiated a sense of extreme responsibility and consistency in my life. Our everyday routine became second nature to me, I would wake up at 5 a.m., get myself ready for school, pack their lunches, wake them up and feed them breakfast. Then, I dropped one off Read more to school and the other to daycare and then off to school I went. After school I would head straight to the daycare where both children were (the elementary school had an after school program at the same daycare as the younger child.) Next was homework, dinner, and bath time before we had our fun and rest. I am very blessed to continue communication with this family, as we share an equal love for each other. I now have the leisure of having two nephews, ages 2 and 5 and they put the sparkle in my eye! I look forward to spending as much time with them as possible on a daily basis, which is why I am truly confident in my ability to provide care for children and treat them as my own. In my spare time I coach soccer for DE Turf ages 4-6 and it’s one of the most rewarding experiences I am lucky to have in my life. I’m 24 years old and currently seeking an opportunity to further my experience in childcare! I will provide the phone number of previous families whom I have worked for before!
