Hi! I'm Katie Bird and I'm currently a freshman honors Biology major at University of Delaware. I'm the oldest of 8 kids (now ranging 3-18 tears old) and have a wealth of experience babysitting within my family as a result. I've babysat for other families occasionally. Last winter I worked as a mother's helper for a neighbor, cleaning her house and looking after her other kids so she could focus on her newborn. While I don't have any formal training or certification for babysitting, I do have other work experience in addition to my informal babysitting experience. I have 3 years of experience working at a local ice cream shop, last year as assistant manager, cashier and key holder. Last summer I also worked as a cashier for Harris Teeter.
