Hi, my name is Amanda. I'm 26 years old. I am a mother to a handsome 8 year old boy. I was let go a few months ago due to lack of work and I have been searching for full-time employment at the same time I made a big move from New York to Delaware which pushed me back. I am a hard working, loving mom who knows what it is like to need quality care. With having my own child and many associates I have seen a lot of daycare centers and learned a few more things about child care. I've worked with children ages 0-17 years old. I have been babysitting siblings since I was 14, Also started to babysit for the neighborhood. Coming from a big family, I have always loved children. I have taken Early Childhood Education classes right out of high school. I can plan Read more and schedule age appropriate curriculum with various activities to stimulate children's cognitive skills, abilities, and development. I am familiar with different learning styles but will work with your child on what suits him or her best. If appropriate, I am able to teach children things from ABC's to potty training, how to dress themselves and tie shoes to proper manners and etiquette. I can plan or prepare meal with your approval, perform housework related to child care, including cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, and doing dishes. As part of entertainment singing and dancing is always a big hit with toddlers. There will also be a set schedule of circle time, crafts, story time, imagination play and learning games. I am also a pet lover.If you'd like, I could record daily observations of children's behavior, activities, and development like at a daycare center. I can send pictures of your child throughout the day so you can go on with your day knowing your child is in good hands.
