My name is Nia Wine, and I am a senior Dietetics B.S. major (3.7 GPA) at the University of Delaware. I am from Staten Island, New York, and I am from a seven person family. I have four sisters, so naturally I am great with kids because I grew up in a very caring and busy household. Majority of my life has been about catering to others, therefore I am skilled in catering to the needs of children. I also have many cousins who I was paid to babysit for, ranging from the ages 3-14 so I have a broad knowledge of childcare. This passed summer I interned at Pono, a democratic and outdoor school for children, where I had to interact and level with many children, ages 3-9. We took them on many field trips where I had the responsibility of keeping an eye out for them as well Read more as making sure they ate, went to the bathroom, cleaned their hands, etc. For the internship I had to get a background check and fingerprinting done, so I am a safe bet!
