I am a young professional female who lives in the Trolley Square neighborhood of Wilmington. I work full time at the University of Delaware (generally 8-5 with some nights/weekends) and have used babysitting as a way to earn some extra money to help me pay off student loans from my Masters degree. I have extensive babysitting experience with families with 1-3 children, ranging in age from newborns to 7 years old, and both boys and girls. I also have two nieces who I spend time with regularly. I am comfortable playing with kids, playing sports, doing arts and crafts, doing puzzles, etc. I am experienced putting kids to bed (including bathing, teeth brushing, reading stories, etc.). I am also happy to help with homework, and do light household chores (laundry, dishes, etc.) One child I have babysat has a severe dairy allergy, and one of my nieces has a severe Read more nut allergy, so while I thankfully have never had to use one, I am familiar with epi-pens and would be comfortable babysitting a child with severe allergies where an epi-pen may be needed in an emergency situation.
