My name is Christina . I possess a B.A. Degree in Child Psychology from Chapman University in Orange, California. I have 30 years of career experiences as a caregiver, sports coach, mentor, counselor and teacher. I am extremely involved with my 12 year old daughters school activities, social events, sports teams, and church events. I have coached, counseled, taught and cared for children between the ages of 2 and 18, and MD/Autistic adults. I began my child care career at age 10 as a mothers helper, and at age 14 started as a babysitter. I continued my child care career throughout college as a daycare teacher , summer program coordinator, and private nanny to two young boys. With a bachelors degree in child psychology my career continued with positions as a high school special education teacher and tutor at Florence Crittenton School for adjudicated girls during the day and counselor Read more and art coordinator at Canyon Acres Residential home for children in the evenings. My career positions also include lead counselor and special education teacher at AuClair Residential School for MR/Autistic Individuals , art teacher and counselor at Ferris School for boys and Middletown Residential Treatment Center for Boys. I have First Aid/CPR training. As a single parent, I have been self employed as an artist, event planner/personal assistant for the past 11 years while raising my daughter. Now that my daughter is getting older and soon off to high school, I am ready to transition back into the "working world". I am scaling back on my Art sales and updating my resume!
