To begin with, my experience with children comes from personal and heart felt experiences that I've had the pleasure of fulfilling for the past 15 years with my own daughter.. She's my only child, I had her young, but have been a very active dedicated and loving mother To her ever since she was born.. I love the experience. I sometimes ask her if she can go back to being a baby again, because now as a teen she seems to want to be in her own little world, focusing on college and her career, which I find to be amazing. I have had the pleasure of caring for her along with my nieces and nephews as well. Due to their mother having difficulty because of her health issues, pace maker and etc.. I not only enjoy helping and taking care of children but I also love to see them Read more grow.. I have lots of patience, as I feel that this is very important when dealing with small children and especially babies... I'm a certified medical assistant and have worked with pediatrics, I've also worked with special needs children in administering flu shots during flu season.. Which I felt definitely tests the amount of patience and focus you have when dealing with kids, you have to speak to them gently, make them feel calm, comfortable and safe while dealing with them..I've also just recently graduated with my bachelor's degree in criminal justice, in hopes of one day in the future I get to work with troubled youths. Help them reconstruct their lives to help them choose a better path to go down... And to make them feel and know that they're loved and cared for outside of home as well.. And that they're better choices and opportunities for them to choose and be a part of... In addition, I do also enjoy participating in activities with kids, because being active is important for their health . and so is eating healthy.. I am a very clean person as well.. Constantly feel the need to always pick up after myself and of course others that are in my care... To conclude, I believe in good communicating skills, honesty, cleanliness, being kind to others and treating people how you want to be treated.. It is absolutely essential..
