I am a Grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. When my first grandson was born I quit my job and became the family day care. I watched all of my grandchildren until I had to return to the work force when my husband passed away suddenly. When I moved to Florida I watched my great nephew for a few months until I found work. When I got laid off during the recession I became daycare for a little girl of one of my coworkers who could no longer afford the daycare because of hours being cut. I did that for about 2 years until the Mom got married. Now I am looking for something to supplement my income. I am healthy and love children of all ages. I love teaching them new things. I am not certified.
