Hello, Nice to meet you. I'm a British teacher that's recently moved to Boca Raton supporting children's education within the Florida's curriculum, and introducing Cambridge university press programs. I work three days a week consulting local enrichment centers offering new approaches and styles. This helps to develop a better service to local children with there homework and curriculum requirements. I've been teaching now for over 20 years, my main field of teaching has been within the younger generation of 3-10-year-olds. I'm qualified through Cambridge University, with a Cambridge teaching Diploma, plus a Certificate in Child Educational Psychology. Previously, I was teaching students in France and England, helping the English & foreign students with school curriculum standards and Cambridge beginner exams. I believe their is nothing more rewarding than watching a child grasp the basics, succeed with confidence and ability. I originally set up my first preschool enrichment center in 2002 Read more called Little Monkeys, which I'm proud to say, is still running in London, England. Over the years I've experienced many different formats of teaching methods used for young children. Personally, I work with methods that offer the child a 3 dimensional approach, allowing each individual child find the best methods that suits their needs to grown. It's important to spend time offering children different solutions to understand math, numerous formats are available. Reading, has to be one of the most important to learn. It offers confidence, and ability to create the path of success in every subject. Having worked with many different styles and methods, it allows me to search for solutions that are best suited for each individual child's need. Their are hundreds of different ways to teach phonics, the most successful is through sound, repetitiveness and identifying. No matter if your child is enhancing in subjects, or just needs that personal TLC to catch up, opening that door of opportunity is the best thing any parent or teacher can give.
