My name is Paula. I am a 21 year old female, originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. I first came to Palm Beach County in the summer of 2013. For me, growing up as an only child was lonely, and I didn't like it too much, so being the optimistic person I usually am, I ventured out of my home, choosing to make many friends, by playing with, or helping fellow kids from my surroundings whether it was in my neighborhood or at school. I primarily grew up going to a Montessori school where I found I was a natural mentor to younger children, I naturally loved teaching them the right way to do things, caring for them, and/or protecting them if that situation had arise. Later in my public school years around age 15, I began to casually babysit afterschool for my neighbors. I did this all Read more throughout high school. At age 19, I then moved down to southern Florida- to Palm Beach County, where I resumed schooling at Palm Beach State College. In the summer of 2014, I decided to pursue my love and passion for working with all types of children. I decided to become licensed in a CDA. This is a Child Development Associates Degree. I had started my courses and almost finished all my hours. I can assure you that every child I encounter will have full attention, love, care, respect, and a balance of play yet safety as if the child was my own. (I do not have any kids of my own yet.) But I do know how important it is too find someone you can trust to leave your children with. I do not have my own vehicle currently but I am in the midst and process of getting one very soon. I am in the Lantana/Lake Worth Area and plan on making transportation not an issue.
