My husband and I have recently moved to the area and I am eager to get back in to childcare. I have been babysitting since I was fourteen and then moved on to working in childcare facilities from the time I was seventeen. My most recent childcare work was done in an after school program ages k-5 including a supplemental kindergarten program. I was responsible for creating and implementing fun, engaging activities as a lead in the classroom. In this age group our ratio was one teacher to twelve children, so I am very comfortable watching multiple children at a time. My job required that I sustain training hours throughout the year to help enrich our program as well as to ensure the continued safety of the children in our care. Although my CPR/AED and first aid expired in May, I would be willing to get re-certified if need me.
