During the last few years, I have been a babysitter for several families. The ages ranged from 2 - 11, and the most children I have babysat at one time is 3. A good strategy I have come across is keeping the children engaged in activities to keep them from arguing or getting bored. I am a strong swimmer, so I am comfortable with children in the pool. I also enjoy indoor activities, such as video games, board games, or crafts. I always ask the parents for emergency numbers, any health issues, and any house rules I need to be aware of. The longest babysitting job I have had was 12 hours, but I have also done smaller jobs around 2 to 3 hours. I graduated from West Florida High School and I am now a sophomore at the University of West Florida and I am majoring in Elementary Education. I play the acoustic and electric guitar, and I love music of all genres. I am very comfortable around animals, and I would be able to babysit at my house or yours, whichever is more convenient for you. I have my own transportation. I have been told that I am very responsible and mature for my age. I am a member of a sorority. I currently act as the Risk Management chairperson and the philanthropy assistant. I am very passionate about our philanthropy, which is school and college readiness.
