I raised two boys as a Navy wife for twenty years......husband out to sea. Grandchildren number eight and I helped raise two grandsons of working parents. Currently, youngest grands live in Jacksonville so I'm available when parents need a weekend away or children want to spend time with their Nana. Teenage grands still take road trips with me annually. I encourage all to try new things and make what ever we are doing an adventure. Manners are expected and reminded, if needed. My hobbies are golf, reading, sewing, cooking and yoga. Visits to the library, playground, beach, movies, putt putt are some of the ways I entertain children. I'm a widow, and my husbands primary caregiver for two years before he died. Life is an adventure and my glass is only half full!
