I am a non-traditional sitter as both a man, and an older man at that, but I have been a sitter in the past, as well as a tutor and teacher. I am also father to a fourth grade son. Currently I am a full-time writer working from home and would welcome the chance to connect with families needing some extra help with their sons. In the past, I have cared for boys as young as four and worked with children through high school. The boys I have worked with in the past loved the novelty of having a man for a sitter, as well as my ability to connect with them on their level. I have had CPR and first aid training in the past, been fingerprinted for work in schools, and have held an advanced professional certification as a middle school teacher.
