Hello! Im a retired momma/gramma. My 2 girls are 27 and 30. The oldest one has a 2 year old daughter and a son on the way. They live in PA and its hard being a long distance gramma. The younger one lives in Winter Haven and works at Disney. Most of my experience comes from raising my own children. Decades ago I did work a few hours a week at a home daycare. And for a limited time I was part time nanny for twins under 1 year old. The last 2 months, I’ve been caring for a family with 3 children less than 15 hours a week as needed. A 19 month old, a 4 year old and a 6 year old. Sometimes driving to take the oldest to school or pick him up. Their mother does dog sitting and has 3 cats. I have 3 little dogs Read more of my own plus a small parrot. So am comfortable with all of that. Its just me and hubby and its very quiet at home. Interacting with and taking care of babies/toddlers/young children gives me an outlet and a sense of purpose that I really enjoy.
