University with a 6th year degree in the area of Learning Disabilities. I worked as a classroom special education teacher for Broward County Schools as well as Department Chair for the Special Ed. Department. Prior to working at Broward, I was a special education teacher for Branford Public Schools outside of New Haven, CT. I was a mentor for over 50 student teachers. I love caring for children and providing an enriching, stimulating, creative atmosphere for your child to develop all areas of their development. I have assessed hundreds of children in all areas of their development: fine and gross motor skills, language and readiness skills, as well as social and emotional development. I am very energetic and can keep up with all ages of children. I love playing games, completing creative activities, and reading to children. I have tutored more than a 100 children in all academics. She was WONDERFUL with our kids (both of them are under 7 years old)! We initially hired her for one night while we were out of town for a wedding. At the last minute, we also needed her for a 2nd night for the rehearsal dinner. She was very flexible and helped us both nights.
